The Gold Eagle Covers

Gold Eagle took over the series with #95 and continued through to #145 when Gold Eagle's contract was wisely not renewed by Warren Murphy. He has contracted with Tor books to continue the series and attempt to get it back on track.

There was a slight change in cover design starting with #117 with the top cover strip being removed and the creator's names being moved to the bottom. Another change occurred at #135 with a new title font design. I am including the "infamous 3" as they are part of the set. Debate is raging among die hard fans with the advent of Jim Mullany's departure and Tim Somheil's assumption of the writing.
