Neat Stuff and Goodies
Here are some of the toughest things to find now. I am always on the hunt for these. It seems that Inside Sinanju is easier to find here in Canada as I have found a total of 6, but have never found a copy of The Assassin's Handbook here yet. I hope to add more stuff here as I find out about it and can locate it.

Inside Sinanju is a 1985 reprint of The Assassin's Handbook printed in the style of the Author's Choice covers. It has all that was in the Handbook with a new introduction by Chuin about the 1985 release of the movie, Remo Williams, The Adventure Begins. I have been very fortunate with finding copies of this. My current copy is in mint shape with no creases I found at a tiny bookstore on Vancouver Island for $2.00. |
The movie was released in 1985 starring Fred Ward, Joel Grey, Kate Mulgrew, and Wilfred Brimley. Joel Grey by all accounts stole the show with an excellent portrayal of Chuin. The plot was not equal to what it should have been and Wilfred Brimley as Smith?? I think not. Our heroes were also seen in a TV pilot and there are rumblings of another TV show in the works. |
This is the book of the film. It was written by Warren Murphy and Richard Sapir after the movie came out. It is unfortunate to my mind that they didn't get to write the script for the film. |

The latest from the
Sinanju scribblers is The Way of the Assassin compiled in 2003 by Warren
Murphy at the behest of the Master. It is the wit and wisdom of the
world's greatest assassin. You can order it personally autographed at: www.warrenmurphy.com

At last the 2nd edition of The Assassin's Handbook is here. Published in 2003 it is a joint effort by Warren Murphy and James Mullany. It contains all new information and stories by and about the author's and the actors of this series. May there be many more jewels as this on the horizon. It also can be ordered personally autographed at: www.warrenmurphy.com |
This is a the screenplay Warren and Richard wrote for the movie. Unfortunately Hollywood decided it wasn't Hollywood and messed it all up with their own script. This follows Created, The Destroyer very well and would have made a far better movie I think. It would have depended a lot on who was playing the parts though. It is available at www.warrenmurphy.com |
In May of 2007, Tor Books took over the publication of the Destroyer Series. An omnibus book consisting of Chinese Puzzle, Slave Safari, an Assassin's Play-off was issued in the line of the Authors Choice idea. It is in the cover art style of the New Destroyer theme. |
