This is a #253 Daimler Ambulance I got from a chap off Ebay for $6.00. It turns out this gentleman lived about 5 minutes away from me so I saved a fair bit on shipping. It was a cream color originally but I repainted white as per Dr. Edward Force in his book. It has the number in the base plate. It now has new tires, but I managed to use the original rivets. I also painted the grill silver color as the original is, I think. Below is what it looked like when I got it.

As seen below I have also acquired a cream version as well as a white version with the plastic rims and windshield I have restored

Here is another one I got in a bulk lot off ebay for a great price. It was only missing the rear tires but I managed to replace them without tearing it apart. I may repaint it some day.
