The first car I ever owned was a 1966 Austin Mini 850 in red. This is a page dedicated to that car and to the great times I had with it. A friend had a blue one and we would really have liked to find a white one to complete "The Italian Job" trio. I finally traded my mini in for a 1973 VW beetle. I still wish I had my mini and hope to get another one soon. All I can afford now is the die-cast toys.

Below that you will find my budding collection of Nash Metropolitans. I have never owned one but I think they are really cool looking cars.

Still farther down you will see a model of a 1963 Mercury Meteor, one of the most beautiful cars ever made. My Dad had one when I was a boy and I often wish it had survived to come to me. Eventually I would love to get a real one, but in the meantime all I can do is dream.
